Fintiri denies “@AhmaduFintiri” Twitter handle, says his official account is @GovernorAUF

Adamawa State Governor,Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has vehemently disowned a cloned Twitter handle disseminating unverified information in his name.

Governor Fintiri who expressed concern over the existence of the fake Twitter account with the handle @AhamduFintiri, described it as a deceptive ploy by unscrupulous individuals to spread misleading information.

“My attention has been drawn to a fake Twitter handle @AhamduFintiri created by unscrupulous persons to misinform unsuspecting members of the public,” Governor Fintiri stated.

He clarified that his only authentic and verified Twitter handle is @GovernorAUF, and cautioned the public against engaging with any other accounts claiming to be him.

“This action is irresponsible and a calculated attempt to disseminate inaccurate and tainted information to unsuspecting members of the public,” the Governor emphasized.

Governor Fintiri urged the public to remain vigilant against mischief-makers who seek to disrupt the existing peace in the State and undermine the positive developments taking place in Adamawa.
He highlighted the importance of scrutinizing every statement not originating from his official channels.
“Please discountenance the fake Twitter account and use my official handle for genuine and accurate information on my activities,” Governor Fintiri urged, while emphasizing the significance of relying on @GovernorAUF for updates.

The Governor through his Chief Press Secretary,Mr Humwashi Wonosikou appealed to Adamawa citizens to be cautious and discerning, emphasizing the need to verify information before accepting it as true.
