A devastating fire outbreak at Waru Panteka, Abuja, has resulted in the tragic loss of three lives and left two others severely injured. The incident occurred on March 20, 2025, at approximately 5:00 a.m., destroying several shanties and properties worth millions of Naira.

According to sources, the three victims who lost their lives in the blaze were identified as Nasiru Sani, 30, from Zamfara State, Umar (surname unknown), and one other individual who was burnt beyond recognition.
Two others, Batura Ali and Mubarak, suffered severe burns and were rushed to the National Hospital for urgent medical attention.

Firefighters successfully contained the fire, preventing it from spreading further. However, the cause of the fire remains unknown, and investigations are ongoing.
