Flood Disaster: Hamisu, APC Chieftain visits Adamawa ravaged communities

His nature of a kind-hearted Man could not keep him down when he heard how the people of Gulak, Shuwa and Kirchinga communities of Madagali Local Government area of Adamawa were ravaged by flood disaster.

Hamisu Idris Medugu was moved with deep compassion render immediate relief materials of food items and money to the victims of the flood displacement that led to the dead of six people.

Hamisu renowned Philanthropist and a son of the Soil was in Shuwa and witnessed how the collapsed bridge that is the connecting rod between Adamawa and Maiduguri State destroyed hundreds of Houses, farm lands and others facing serious health challenges.

Hamisu who is a senior and critical member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) millions of Naira and hundreds of bags of rice, maize, seasonings including clothing materials.

He assured the victims of the perennial flooding that he will do all he can to contact the authority concern to get a lasting solution to the yearly flood disaster.

He enjoined the government both at state and federal, well meaning Nigerians to rise up to the occasion of developmental government with rural communities getting good attention of the government to always do the needful.

He said only people-oriented sound policies that will bridge the gap between the government and the governed.

“I call on State government and the federal government agencies concerned to bring immediate help to our people.

” And to get the lasting solution of this constant breaking down of the only bridge living two Major states in North East is to reconstruct the bridge and build super high Way linking the two States.” Hamisu said
