The flood disasters that displaced many communities in Northern, Central, and Southern Senatorial Districts of Adamawa State have attracted the attention of the senior special assistant (SSA) on Humanitarian affairs and poverty alleviation, Mrs. Delu Yakubu Bulus, to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Delu, in a press statement made available to this medium, sent her heart-touched concern to the people of Hong, Lamurde, and Madagali Local Government areas whose communities were ravaged by the flood natural disasters.
In the statement, Delu commiserated with all those affected in Shuwa, Kirchinga, Hong, Lamurde, Gulak, and many others and said the natural disaster had done its worst but assured them of Federal Government intervention.
She said the Government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is people-driven as she has been directed to liaise with relevant agencies for an immediate intervention to cushion the effects of the flood disaster.
She sympathized with the family of those who lost their relations over the unfortunate incidents.
While calling on all those living along the riverine areas to be wary and cautious and stay on alert for any looming danger that will be caused by the floods. She prayed for the souls of those departed to be rewarded with paradise and their families to bear the irreparable lost.
