Former Ekiti State Governor, Fayemi, Mourns Demise Of Ijesha Paramount Ruler, Oba  Aromolaran

Dr. Kayode Fayemi, former Governor of Ekiti State and ex-Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF), has expressed deep condolences over the passing of Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran II, the Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijeshaland, Osun State.

Fayemi described the late traditional ruler’s demise as an irreparable loss to his family, the Ijesha community, Osun State, and the nation. He praised Oba Aromolaran’s tireless efforts to promote peace and understanding among his subjects and beyond, as well as his contributions to security and development in Osun State and Nigeria.

Fayemi’s condolence message, signed by Mallam Ahmad Sajoh, Head of the Fayemi Media Office, emphasized the late Oba’s wise leadership, commitment to justice, and steadfast dedication to the progress of Ijesha land. He noted that Oba Aromolaran’s legacy extends beyond Ijeshaland, influencing community development and social progress.

The statement concluded by celebrating Oba Aromolaran’s life and legacy, and praying for his soul to rest in peace.
