Yesterday, December 6, the family of Late PA. Wesley Ndatam Fwa received a condolence visit from former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. The visit, which coincided with the six-month prayers for the deceased, was a heartfelt gesture of sympathy and support.
Atiku Abubakar, who was accompanied by Honourable Adamu Atiku and the Commissioner for Works and Energy, Adamawa State, took time to express his deepest condolences to the Fwa family. He acknowledged the profound loss they had suffered, saying, “The loss you are enduring is colossal, and no one can truly replace the unique presence of your beloved father.”

The former Vice President also shared some words of comfort, drawing from his own experiences and faith. He said, “I have faith that the Divine will be a constant companion to you during this difficult time.” His empathetic words brought solace to the grieving family.
During the visit, Atiku Abubakar also reflected on the long-standing relationship between his family and the Fwa family. He noted that their bond, which spans about 38 years, has been harmonious and enduring. This relationship, he emphasized, was a key reason for his personal visit to condole with the family.
The Fwa family was visibly touched by Atiku Abubakar’s gesture, which demonstrated his commitment to upholding the values of empathy and solidarity. As they continue to navigate their grief, they take comfort in knowing that they have the support of friends, family, and community leaders like Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
