Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas has approved the payment of bursary awards to 63 Taraba indigenes in law schools across the nation.
The state Commissioner for Information and Re-orientation, Barr. Zainab Usman Jalingo, made this known today via a press statement available to Journalists.
She said the approval is proof of Gov. Kefas’ commitment to free education and efforts in ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder young Tarabans.
“Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas has graciously approved the disbursement of bursaries worth N400,000 naira each to 63 Law students from Taraba State, studying at the Nigerian Law Schools across the country.”
“Governor Kefas remains dedicated to supporting the academic aspirations of Taraba State’s students.” She said.
Also, reports have it that Sen. Emmanuel Bwacha, the 2023 Taraba APC Gubernatorial Candidate who is currently a student of the Nigerian Law School, is a beneficiary.
