FRSC wives group Commiserates With Accident Victims in FMC, donates Toiletries, beverages

Members of the Road Safety Officers Wives Association ROSOWA have distributed toiletries and beverages to the accident casualties at the Accident and Emergency Unit of the Federal Medical Centre, FMC Yola, Adamawa state, northeast Nigeria marking the ROSOWA Rs 3.1 Adamawa state annual remembrance day for road crash victims

Presenting the items Saturday, the group led by Mrs Farti Theman, the state coordinator and secretary, whose Motto is “Safety, Unity and Discipline” said it is part of their annual activities to visit hospitals and commiserate with the accident victims.

The gesture is seen as a great expectation coming at a time the FRSC Adamawa state is counting loses occasioned by the activities of the hoodlums reduced to savages in the guise of #EndSARS protests; a project considered lucrative by those without attitude, which resulted in vandalising the FRSC offices and carting away valuable items, including uniforms. in spite of these, the wives of the FRSC officers have sensed the spirit of welfarism.

While the officers and men of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) the leading agency in Nigeria on road safety administration and management are shouldered with the responsibility of “making the highways safe for motorists and other road users as well as checking road worthiness of vehicles, recommending works and infrastructures to eliminate or minimise accidents on the highways and educating motorists and members of the public on the importance of road discipline on the highways, the wives of the officers are concerned with the accident victims.

The beneficiaries have jointly thanked the group for the generosity and care.

Other executive members of the group present include: Mrs kunawe Ndjangla state financial secretary, Mrs Hanatu Bitrus state assistant Secretary and Mrs Fidausi Terrang state treasurer.
