Fubara reshuffles cabinet over Rivers crisis

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, on Tuesday night, announced a reshuffle of his cabinet amidst the political crisis rocking the state.

Governor Fubara, in a statement by the Secretary to the Rivers State Government, Dr. Tammy Danagogo, redeployed the Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General of the state, Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor to the Ministry of Special Duties (Governor’s Office).

He also sent the Commissioner for Finance, Isaac Kamalu, to the Ministry of Employment Generation and Economic Empowerment.

Fubara asked them to immediately hand over to their respective permanent secretaries.

The statement partly read, “They are to hand over to their respective permanent secretaries immediately as this deployment takes immediate effect. All hand over processes must be completed immediately.”
