This morning in Jimeta and Yola the capital of Adamawa State waked with queue of commuters struggling to get fuel in their vehicles.
The reasons to this sad development is not yet identify as to why the unexpected emergence of the fuel scarcity in the state.
Mallam Ibrahim Adamu who has been on queue since around 6am today at the Mega filling station in Jimeta told our reporter that he met over 200 hundreds cars on line waiting for the pump attendant to start selling the PPMC product.
The state’s chairman of the Independent petroleum marketers association of Nigeria (IPMAN),Alhaji A A Butu said the major cause of the scarcity is the failure of Nigeria National petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to supply the needed products of the PPMC for onward redistribution.
As at the filling of this report, effort to reach any official of the NNPC failed as their phones were not been answered.
