Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani (Gimbiyar Adamawa) has described the demise of Alhaji Alh Mohammadu Gambo Jimeta (Dan Lawan Adamawa) as a loss of a Father, a Hero and a symbol of unity in Adamawa state and Nigeria.
In a press statement signed and released to newsmen, Binani said the sad news is a big blow to the state and the nation.
“I received with deep shock news of the demise of the former inspector general of police of Federal Republic of Nigeria, but with total submission to the will of Allah the Almighty.
His death at this critical moment creates a huge vacuum not only for His immediate family, jimeta, or Adamawa, but the entire nation.
“He was a respected, courageous elder statesman”
“I extend my most sincere condolences to the immediate and extended family, as well as the people of Adamawa State and Country at large over this great loss” she added.
The Senator while condoling the bereaved family reminded them that death is inevitable.
She also prayed Allah to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest and urged the family to take solace in God.
Binani exclaimed that the Elder statesman died at the time his family, the state and the entire Nation needs him the most.
