According to Governor Adeleke, Oyetola has been issuing illegal directives to security operatives to enforce illegality, allegedly using his connection to the President to carry out his plans. The Governor expressed concern that the security operatives in the state may obey these unlawful orders, which could lead to loss of life and property.

“I regret to inform Mr. President and the public that Mr. Gboyega Oyetola has concluded an arrangement to cause mayhem in Osun state starting from Monday,” Governor Adeleke said. “He is issuing illegal directives to security operatives to enforce illegality simply because he is the nephew of Mr. President.”
Governor Adeleke stated that he chose to alert the nation to prevent his people from being killed or maimed by security operatives who may be acting on unlawful orders. He emphasized that he will not stand by and watch as his state is plunged into chaos and violence.
