A press statement signed by the media aide of Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state is revealed the Governor is being suspected to be effected with coronavirus.
Muktar M Gidado his senior Special Assistant (SSA) on media signed the statement and read saying that Bala while returning from an official trip met with Mohammed Atiku,Son to the former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar in an aero contractor flights in Lagos and exchanged pleasantries.
The statement further said that blood sample of the Governor is taken for observation even though he did not exhibit any sign of the virus.
According to the statement it to follow the instructions of the Federal Government guidelines of isolation, avoidance and to be under strict Observation.
“Therefore the Governor suspended and cancelled any official appointments with immediate effect”. The statement said
You would recall that Atiku Abubakar in his verified Twitter handle said his son is infected with the dreaded Coronavirus and since he has been taken to Gwagwalada General Hospital to be quarantined.
