During the Farmer’s day in Mayo-Farang district of Mayo-Belwa Local Government Area of Adamawa State, Sunday afternoon (today), the Executive Governor of the state, Sen Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindo assured the farmers of higher premium on Agriculture.
The communities wore festive ambiance in Mayo-Farang and her environs as farmers gathered under the auspices of Amalgamated Farmers Association to commemorate this year’s Mayo-Belwa Farmers day.
Jibrilla, who was the special guest of honour, stated in a brief remark that his administration places high priority on agriculture, and that was why, “in the history of Adamawa State, no administration had deemed it expedient to help farmers with farming implements, but my administration has purchased over 150 tractors and we have remained unrelenting in providing fertilizers as well as other allied assistance to our farmers”.
He noted that his determination is to consolidate on the tangible projects that dot the entire landscape of Adamawa State.
