Governor of Adamawa State, Sen Mohammed Umar Jibrilla, felicitates with Dr PP Power as he is conferred with the traditional title of Homotokai by the paramount ruler of Bachama Kingdom, his Royal Majesty, Homun Honest Irmiya Stephen, (Kpafrato 11, Kwiremana & Gbullum Bomo).
The governor who said he is personally elated about the well deserved elavation noted that, “the investiture of the traditional title of Homotokai on Dr Power is timely and germane as i was earlier informed that it means Sarkin Yaki in Hausa or Field Marshall in English language”.
He stated that having come into close contact with Dr Power in the last three and half years, “i have since come to the realisation that Dr Power is a community leader with impeccable track record of peace-building, philanthropy,and uncommon love for community development.
Describing the choice of Dr Power to occupy the exalted traditional seat as laudable, the governor said he is full of optimism that the new Homotokai will use his new position in the council as added impetus to the quest for an enduring peace, community development, unity and harmonious coexistence, not only within the Bachama Kingdom but in the entire state.
Sen Jibrilla urged Dr PP Power to apply the methodology and strategy he deployed in repositioning the State Local Government Service Commission as Executive Chairman, to strenthen the glory of Bachama Kingdom and indeed the Bwatiye race in general.
He lauded the decision of Homun Honest Irmiya Stephen for the choice of Dr Power as Homotokai and called on all Bwatiyes, both at home and away to offer their prayers and useful advice for him to succeed.
