Federal Government civil servants under the ouspices of Federal Civil Staff of Nigeria Cooperatives (FEDCOOP), has recognised the Governor of Adamawa State, Sen Mohammed Umar Jibrilla Bindow, with an award for what they described as, “continued courage and determination in carrying out the monumental task of managing Adamawa State.”
Presenting the prestigious award to the Governor, Tuesday morning in Abuja, president of FEDCOOP, Barr Onjefu Obe, said it was in recognition of Sen Jibrilla Bindow’s leadership qualities that he is being honoired with the award of, “Public Sector Contribution to Small Business Growth.”
In expressing gratitude to the organisers of the award ceremony, Sen Jibrilla Bindow said, “the recognition will embolden me to step up my drive in providing the much needed expectations of good governance to the people of Adamawa State.”
In attendance were the former Speaker and acting governor of Adamawa State, Hon James Barka, former member of the State Assembly Hon Abubakar Jaringol and officials of FEDCOOP.
