GOV. BINDOW ORGANISED A BANQUET DINNER IN HONOURS OF DR BARKINDO

Yesterday Adamawa state banquet hall was full to the brim as the Executive Governor of the State, Senator Muhammad Umaru Jibrilla Bindow organised a banquet dinner for the first black Secretary General of the Organization for petroleum countries (OPEC), Dr Mohammed Sanusi Barkindo.

Barkindo who is an indigene of Yola South LGA of the State and hold the Traditional tittle as the Wali Adamawa graced the occasion with officials of OPEC,friends and families both home and abroad.

The evening eating galore became one of its kind as various cultural dancing troops from different tribes in the state displayed to entertain the seated guest.

The former MD of Nigerian National petroleum corporations (NNPC) was dazed with accolade of praises by singers to the admiration of his invited guest.

The honour is to show the world that Adamawa state are proud to have Barkindo as one of her illustrious son of the soil who he has written his name in the tabloids of goal and making the state and the country proud in the eyes of the world.

Governor Bindow made a special presentation to him and other guest with Made by Adamawa products (Hand bags) for their office work.
