The Executive Governor of Adamawa state, Senator Mohammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow of emphasised the needs of all Nigeria teachers in post primary schools to translate Agriculture subjects into wealth creation for the country.
According to him this will help the present administration to accommodate teaming unemployment Youths roaming the streets without Jobs and generate a lot of revenue for the country.

Jibrilla said this while addressing the 2016 conference of National Executive Meeting (NEC) of All Nigeria Confederation of principal of secondary Schools (ANCOPSS) in Yola that is hosting the 36 states including Abuja.
Jibrilla who was represented by the State’s Secretary to the Government (SSG), Dr Umar Bindir charging them to unite In supporting Adamawa State with their wealth of experience in teaching to bring out a curriculum that will harness the richly endowed minerals resources not only in Adamawa State but the country at large.
“Teachers are teachers Adamawa state needs your support as we are over coming insurgents attacks that had previously and badly put us in the wrong position not having proper balance to improve the economy status of the state.” Jibrilla said
“The connection between wealth and agriculture must be translated by the teachers which are privileged to have you around us to fashioned ways that can help the country grow economically “.He added
In his earlier submission, the National President of the Union, Principal Izuagie A A told the cheering Governor that the gathering is unique and break the jinx of the hysteria surrounding their rotation meetings in the north.
Appreciating and congratulating the Governor for bringing out the beauty of the state with his laudable projects and them in kind and cash to hold this year NEC meeting.
“This education friendly and caring governor who has put smiles on the faces of our noble colleagues, developed education in the state and raised the hope of the common man with his humanitarian programs is indeed a political model, a Governor with good vision with a direct people oriented policies ” Izuagie said
“Haven Appointed principals as permanent Secretaries and Executive Secretaries of boards and parastatals,Promotion of Principals and Teachers to Grades level 16,care for the physical challenged children, restoration of peace to Adamawa state, renovation of same dilapidated schools buildings and construction of new ones and provision of computers set and internet facilities in some of the schools”.He said
The Theme of this year meeting is “Free Education In Nigeria:Issues and Challenges”where Izuagie draw the attention of the Governor to understand that ANCOPSS is a professional educational that contribute to national development through their advices.
He therefore call the attention of the minister Of Education on their recent policy on university admission that is unsettled, charging them not to allow admission process to be delayed for this year academic session.
In his own part the state’s acting ANCOPSS President, Mr. Philip Y Bako equally appreciated the the Governor for his unwavering support of education sector in the state.
He call the Governor to look at the pleads of teachers in the state as the are having all sorts of myriad challenges.
