Ahmed Lawan a former Organizing Secretary for the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Adamawa State who decamped to the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, months ago has been appointed by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
Governor Fintiri through an endorsed letter of appointment by the Secretary to the State Government, Hon Awwal Tukur appointed him as the senior special assistant on community peace and security.
In the letter of the appointment, Fintiri described Lawan as a loyal person to his administration and found him qualified and suitable for the job he was appointed to do.
Fintiri therefore expected to give the Best in the interest of the State with his wealth of experience and requisite knowledge to develop Adamawa.
