Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has restated his administration’s strong dedication to delivering essential infrastructure and services to residents of Jada Local Government Area (LGA) as part of his ongoing assessment tour across all 21 LGAs in the state.

During the visit, the Governor emphasized his focus on providing **potable water** and other critical infrastructure to the area. He announced the allocation of additional resources to support and sustain ongoing water projects, ensuring long-term access and efficiency for the community.
Governor Fintiri explained that the tour allows him to personally evaluate progress in vital sectors such as security, education, and healthcare, while engaging directly with local stakeholders.
In a major boost to local economic activity and connectivity, the Governor flagged off the construction of 4.42 kilometres of key township roads in Jada. He also commissioned the newly completed official residence for the Local Government Chairman, along with other finished projects, highlighting tangible gains under his leadership.
The Governor assured the people of Jada that all legitimate community requests would receive prompt attention, underscoring his priority on grassroots development and inclusive governance.
Prominent figures, including state legislators, the Deputy Speaker, and the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, praised the Governor’s interventions. They acknowledged notable advancements in healthcare and human capital development but called for further progress, specifically urging the establishment of a higher learning institution in the area and the construction of the Jada–Kojoli road to sustain economic growth.
The Local Government Chairman, Hon. Mohammed Salihu So’o, commended Governor Fintiri for his inclusive style of leadership and his established reputation as a peacebuilder at both state and national levels.
In a heartfelt display of appreciation, Professor Abdullahi Liman Tukur, on behalf of the people, presented the Governor with traditional warrior’s gear and local food items, symbolizing the deep bond between the state government and the Jada community.
The visit wrapped up with lively celebrations showcasing Jada’s vibrant cultural heritage, featuring traditional dances and performances. Women and youth representatives voiced their support for the administration and appealed for sustained focus on development initiatives.
The event reinforced a collective commitment to building a more prosperous, connected, and thriving Adamawa State.
