Adamawa gets a new Brigade Commander, 23 Armoured Brigade, Yola, Brigadier General Paul Kefas Zawaya who hails from Michika Local Government Area of the state.
Receiving the new Brigade Commander in the Government House, Yola, on Tuesday, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri tasked him to double his efforts toward reducing the crime rate in the state.
The Governor asked him to create synergy with other sister security agencies towards fighting the menace of kidnappings among other all forms of criminality in Adamawa.
Governor Fintiri assured his continued support to security outfits towards making the state, a crime-free, for the betterment of all and sundry.
He commended the outgoing Brigade Commander, Brigadier General M. J Gambo for rejiging the security architecture by taking the fight to the criminals in the state.
In his remarks, the New Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Paul Kefas Zawaya assures that he will do everything possible to maintain security across Adamawa.
The outgoing Brigade Commander, Brigadier General MJ Gambo thanked Governor Fintiri for the support given to him throughout his stay in Adamawa and asked him to extend the same successor
