Gov Fintiri Visits Hometown, Observes Jummat Prayer At Gulak New Central Mosque

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri marked the conclusion of his fifth anniversary celebration in office with a visit to his ancestral home in Madagali Local Government Area.

The Governor was warmly welcomed by a large, enthusiastic crowd of youths, and women among other residents as well as government functionaries and traditional rulers.

Addressing the people at the palace of the District Head of Madagali, Governor Umaru Fintiri urged the community, particularly followers of the two major religions, to unite and support each other.

He called on the people to assist security forces in identifying and removing criminal elements within the community and encouraged them to actively engage themselves in this farming season.

Governor Umaru Fintiri promised that his administration would support farmers with necessary inputs in order to fight hunger in the state.

Amna Shelleng, Alhaji Isah Dason, expressed gratitude to the Governor for his support of religious activities and urged the people of Madagali to continue praying for the Governor’s success.

Earlier, the District Head of Madagali, Bello Ijadi Sumda, commended Governor Fintiri for providing the state, the needed infrastructure, healthcare, education, and other vital projects.

He also prayed to God to protect and guide the Governor in the task of piloting the affairs of the state.

Meanwhile, Governor Umaru Fintiri has observed the Juma at prayer at the newly commissioned central mosque in Gulak.
