Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba state has been described as a man of integrity, kind and unbiased leader who has a listen ear for all.
The commendation was made by the Chairman, Taraba state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Hamman Adama in interview with our Correspondent in Jalingo, the state capital.
He said, the Governor in his first regime had done a lot in the area of security, infrastructure, agriculture, education and health, as well as women and youths empowerment among others, through his rescue mission agenda for the state.
” His Excellency Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku is a gentleman who listens to his people irrespective of whatever difference, be it religion, tribal or ethnic, that is to tell you the kind of an unbiased leader that God blessed us, we the people of Taraba state with”
He also commended the Governor for given the Board all necessary support it needed all the time, adding that as part of his kind of good governance, the state government had sponsored 280 Muslim Ummah to perform this year’s Hajj from the state which is the wish of every Muslim in life, being it one of the five pillars of Islam.
According to Hamman Adama, it is on record that Taraba is one of the most peaceful state in Nigeria despite the fact that there are some areas that are having communal clashes in which the Governor and security operatives are doing everything possible in curbing the problem.
While congratulating the Governor who turned 65 Years old, the Chairman Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, believed that Governor Ishaku will in his second term continue the good work he embarked on with a view to take the state to a greater height.
He prayed to God to give the Governor more wisdom and patience and remained in good health as he pilot the affairs of the state for the second term, while he urged people the Taraba to support the Ishaku’s administration to enable him his campaign promises.
However, Alhaji Hamman Adama commended the Wife of the Governor Barr. Anah Darius whom through her pet project Hope Afresh Foundation, empowered thousands of women and youths in the state.
” Her Excellency our Mother Mrs. Annah Darius Ishaku is doing a lot to the people of the state, which is complementing government’s effort in creating job opportunities for women and youth through skills acquisition among so many other things, and just of recent She provided 5000 limbs for Amputees and even people from other states have benefitted, so this is commendable”. He said.
