Gov. Jibrilla Appoints New Head of ADSEMA

The Adamawa state governor, Muhammed Umaru Jibrilla has approved the appointment of Muhammad Amin Suleiman as the Executive Secretary of the Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency, ADSEMA, with effect from the 31st of July, 2018.

This is contained in a press statement signed by the Adamawa state commissioner for information and strategy, Ahmed Sajoh and made available to Newsmen, Tuesday in Yola.

The press statement said, the appointment is in line with the provisions of part three of sections 7 and 8(1) of the Adamawa state emergency management agency law of 2009 and that Suleiman is the most senior director in the agency.

“By this appointment, Dr. Suleiman will serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the agency under the supervision of the chairman of the board who the Deputy Governor of the state or anyone appointed by the Deputy Governor as alternate chairman as provided by the Law establishing the agency,” the statement said.

Suleiman Muhammad, has been the Director Rescue, Relief and Rehabilitation of the agency since 2012.
