Adamawa State governor, Senator Muhammad Umar Jibrilla Bindow has been described as a faithful, honest and loyal stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This was stated by the Organising Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Adamawa Chapter, Alhaji Ahmed Lawan, yesterday.
According to Lawan, the unfortunate media report by one of the inactive members of the state APC accusing Governor Bindow of betrayal is nothing both the work of enemies of APC and enemies of Adamawa State.
Lawan states that Governor Bindow was the first governor in Nigeria to pledge his support for the second term of President Muhammadu Buhari come 2019.
‘It’s unfortunate that some irrelevant party members wants to ruin the good relationship between the APC, President Buhari and Governor Bindow by making false and deceitful statements in the media”
“It may interest everybody to know that the so-called party chieftain is not even an active party member. He doesn’t even participate in the party activities”, Lawan added.
“It is also worthy of note to know that when Adamawa APC declared their support for Buhari 2019, it is the same group of People who kicked against it and accused the Chapter of being bias because they wanted to work for Kwankwaso”, he concluded.
