Governor Fintiri, APC Candidate Galadima Observe Eid-el-Kabir in Yola

In a show of unity and religious devotion, Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Tijjani Ahmed Galadima, on Wednesday joined thousands of Muslim faithful to observe the Eid-el-Kabir prayers in Yola.

The two leaders participated in the congregational prayers held at the Yola Central Mosque, where they offered supplications for peace, unity, and socio-economic progress in Adamawa State and the country at large.

Eid-el-Kabir, which commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son in obedience to God, is being celebrated across Nigeria today.

The gathering of the sitting governor and a leading opposition gubernatorial aspirant at the same prayer venue has been interpreted by observers as a positive signal of religious harmony and political maturity in the state.

Governor Fintiri, who has consistently emphasized inclusive governance, and Alhaji Galadima were seen exchanging pleasantries with worshippers after the prayers, reinforcing the spirit of the festival which promotes sacrifice, compassion, and togetherness.

As Adamawa prepares for future political activities, today’s joint appearance is expected to generate discussions about cross-party engagement during major religious celebrations.
