In the area of security, Governor Fintiri reported significant improvements, citing the successful recalibration of the security architecture. Urban crime has decreased, and the Adamawa Peace Project has yielded positive results, mitigating farmer-herder conflicts and promoting unity among the people.

The governor also announced the creation of new districts and the enactment of the Adamawa State Chiefs (Appointment and Deposition) Law 2024. This legislation aims to reposition the traditional institution, enhance dispute resolution, and strengthen social cohesion.
