The Governor of Adamawa State is accused of using traditional institutions as an instrument of war to fight citizens of the state who are in his record black book.
Lawan Salihu Zubairu, village head of Tsukumu, Bazza District presented an official letter from the Mubi Emirate Council to this medium to have terminated his appointment.
Shocked by what he described as baseless allegations of “maladministration, breach of security, corruption, insubordination to lawful orders to the emirate and participation of partisan politics and above all, security reports in and outside your village. ”
Lawan distanced himself from all the allegations and stated that he is a good citizen and law-abiding that has never been accused of any criminal offenses.
He said the Government of Adamawa State have used its weapon of war against him and others who they popossiblyate because we stand by the truth and leave by it.
Salihu accepted his deposition as an act of God and happily see it as God’s divine arrangement that he designed for him from creation to face.
He called on all of the people of Tsukumu to stay put and never raise any accusing finger at anyone or the government in place.
He believes that something somewhere went wrong within the political class who are good at fanning embers of hatred and going about with lies against their enemies misinforming the government.
In the letter which has terminated Salihu’s appointment, TG NEWS can tentatively report that he and other three from different districts were also suspended, and some gave queries to respond accusing them of criminal offenses.
The termination letter which was signed by Mathew A. Unesi of the Mubi emirate council asked Salihu to hand over all government properties in his possession.
To report time, efforts were reached to Governor Ahmadu Fintiri’s aide, Mr Humwashi Wonosikou to respond but his like was not going through.
