A call was made to Deltans, especially the Youth cutting across the three senatorial zones to give Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori the needed support to work for the State.
Elvis Akpobi Obas who is Oborevwori’s Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Youth Mentoring and Development charged the Youth to rally around Governor Oborevwori because of the vision of transforming the state.
Elvis said Oborevwori has set an Agenda to make Delta one of the most economically viable states in the country that’s youth-inclusive in the areas of sports, Digital Economy, and many more.
He called on them to bear and uphold Governor Oborevwori’s vision and run with it because it’s a mandate for everyone.
Elvis who is a Youth activist and runs a pet project of the Not Too Young to Lead initiative said the Delta State Governor is dreaming big for the State and that can be seen in his one-year in office scorecard.
He congratulated the Governor for marking his one year in office in grand style with multiple achievements in the areas of Education, Health, Youth inclusive government, and massive development in constructing roads, bridges, and building physical infrastructures of many sectors.
Thanked the Youth for rallying around him to have a successful one year in office and enjoined them to do more in the coming years because the future looking bright for them.
While thanking Governor Oborevwori for availing himself for the people of Delta, he called on elder statesmen, senior citizens, and stakeholders to be a strong Pillar for him to deliver the dividends of democracy for the people of the state.
“I congratulate my Boss who has clocked one year in office, the talking the work Governor and the architect of New Delta State who is spotlighting the state in the mirror of development,” Elvis said
