In a unique blend of sports and environmental activism, Engineer Musa Nimrod, President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), distributed economic trees to participants at the 7th President Beach Volleyball Cup.

Nimrod, who also serves as the President of the CAVB Beach Commission, highlighted the importance of tree planting in mitigating erosion and combating global warming. He praised the President of the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB), Madam Bouchra Hajij, for initiating a tree-planting program at the CAVB headquarters.

“Planting trees in our environment is crucial,” Nimrod emphasized. “The impact of global warming is largely due to the deforestation happening around us.”
