President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has forwarded the name of Professor Mamman Tahir, a Minister nominee from Adamawa state for screening in the hallow chamber of the senate.
On hearing the good tidings, an All Progressives Congress (APC) Stakeholder from Adamawa state, Hon Hamisu Idris Medugu has congratulated the legal luminary and said Tinubu has made the right choice for the state.
Tahir a Senio advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and a professor of Law has decades of experience in the academic and legal practice in both Maiduguri, Adamawa and Abuja.
He was the former Director General of Law school Yola and served as a Vice Chancellor at Base University Abuja.
A Politician who has contested the Adamawa State Northern senatorial District in 2019.
Hamisu described him as an excellent Man that can do the job well in the interest of all of Nigeria.
According to Hamisu, Mamman is a detribalized Nigerian, a Man with integrity as his watch mark.
While congratulating him, Hamisu thanked President Tinubu for allowing Mamman to serve Nigerians.
Tahir is from the Michika Local Government area and is Higgi by Tribe.
