The bedeviling state of peace and tranquility resulting to high rate of insecurity is becoming more alarming from all corners of Nigeria, innocent people on a daily basis are being kidnapped, killed for baseless reasons.

Irked with the ugly development, a Senatorial aspirant who is from Adamawa Northern Senatorial District, Hamisu Idris Medugu called for Unity within the political class as the only to have a sustainable peace.

This according to him is certainly a sure way of fighting out all forms of insecurity threatening the corporate existence of the country under whatever guise.

Hamisu made the call at his Yola residence when he played host to hundreds of politicians across party lines for the naming of his newborn baby boy, Monday morning after 10 years of being expectant.

According to him the coming together of politicians today to pray for the child is a mark of to honor him and appreciate their presence in high regards.

He said the love and the unity they exhibited today if that can be translated to the overall Unity of Adamawa State, Nigeria it will go a long way in changing the narratives of banditry, kidnapping, and all kinds of insurgency in the country.

Idris who said his political principles and ideology is for Unity, peaceful coexistence, and cohesion to development is what he will agitate, struggle to achieve if given the mandate to represent the people of Adamawa Northern Senatorial zone.

He said the bills, the motions, and contributions he has set to pass in the house will no doubt empower youths, women and bring about development in all towns and villages of the Northern zone.

His view to rotation leadership may not be a good omen for Nigeria as the formula will not allow the country to always have the ideal leaders it suppose to be having.

The bad political trend is an ugly development according to Medugu that is bringing lack of Unity and trust among the political ruling class in the six geopolitical zones of the country.

He is however confident that the naming of Isah, Imran today that brought together politicians from different political parties and ideologies will be another prayer for him to set Nigeria on the right track.

He revealed his intention to aspire under the All Progressives Congress (APC), a party he described as viable to bear the burdens of Adamawa masses as a set target to achieve.

With the good intentions, he said is creating a new environment that can showcase Adamawa into the limelight and go bring development much more to the people.
