A member representing Ganye Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Honourable Alhassan Hammanjoda has targeted over five hundred students for scholarship.
Alhassan whose gesture focused only on those in various high institutions for learning said the idea behind the scheme he envisaged many years ago is to encourage his constituents in the area of education.
According to him the students are mostly in Universities, colleges of Nursing, Health, and Education in and outside Adamawa State that will benefit in the pet project.
The lawmaker who is an All Progressives Congress, APC, said he prioritized education as one of his progressives wheel of representation to help the less privileged in his constituency.
In the ongoing event which is taking place in his Ganye constituency office, our correspondent report that hundreds of students from various wards are trooping in for accreditation and submission of forms.
He revealed that the program has been a yearly event since his resumption into office in 2015 and is intend to make it a lifetime affair by God’s will.
