Hon Talatu,former Rep in Adamawa quit APC for PDP, greeds LGA seat

The immediate past national Lawmaker to have represented Numan/Lamurde Federal constituency, Mrs Talatu Johanna Kusari tendered a letter of her intention to quit APC to her party of choice.

Talatu in the letter addressed to her ward chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Ngbakowo ward Lamurde LGA said she is leaving the party because of the illtreatment metted on her during and after the building of 2019 general elections.

The letter which dated 15th July,2019 copied to State and LGA Chairmen of APC is quoted Talatu saying that:

“For me to contribute positively in politics,it is imperative for me to leave APC to pitch my tent where due process is adhered to/where my rights are guaranteed. In the light of this I decided to quit my membership.” Talatu said

However the letter of the east while Lawmaker did not suggest the new party she will join, but the APC legal adviser in the state,Barr Shagnah Pwamaddi Mwboyofe who is from Numan/Lamurde federal constituency said they have reliable gathered that Mrs Yohanna have been given an appointment as a board member in the PDP led government in the state, under the leadership of Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

He further said that the information at their disposal Talatu is warming up to contest the coming Local polls as a chairperson of Lamurde LGA.
