A vibrant display of unity and solidarity marked the holy month of Ramadan as Hon. Musa Usman Terrang, the aspirant for the Gombi/Hong Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives under the All Progressives Congress (APC), hosted a grand Unity Iftar.

The well-attended gathering brought together prominent stakeholders from across Hong to break fast together, reflect on shared values, and reinforce bonds of brotherhood amid the ongoing political realignments in Adamawa State.
The event was deliberately organized to promote harmony, encourage collaboration, and strengthen ties among leaders and community figures particularly following the recent defection of key PDP structures to the APC in the state.
It served as a platform for open dialogue, renewed pledges of support, and collective supplications for peace, progress, and lasting development in the constituency.
Among the distinguished attendees were: Hon. Attah Mustapha, former Executive Chairman of Hong Local Government and ex-Hon. Commissioner; All 12 ward APC executives; Executives from the recently defected PDP structure; Councillorship candidates of the APC; Representatives from the Muslim Council; Leaders from the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN); Various youth groups; Senior stakeholders and Islamic scholars
The evening featured a sumptuous iftar meal, heartfelt prayers led by religious leaders, and addresses emphasizing the importance of unity in driving community advancement. Attendees expressed appreciation for Hon. Terrang’s initiative, which underscored inclusivity and a commitment to leaving no one behind during this sacred period.
The gathering concluded on a high note of resolve, with participants vowing to continue joint efforts for the benefit of the people of Gombi/Hong Federal Constituency.
In a related development highlighting his community engagement, Hon. Terrang has also been commended for establishing a media centre aimed at enhancing communication, information dissemination, and grassroots mobilization in the area.
The facility is expected to support transparent engagement and empower local voices ahead of future electoral processes.
Political watchers view such events as strategic steps in building broad-based support for Terrang’s 2027 aspiration to represent Gombi/Hong at the National Assembly, where he is positioning himself as a unifying figure with a track record of grassroots service and effective leadership.
