A teleguided misinformation was said to have caused Aspirant Jesse Chidama to loss the Gombi/Hong federal constituency Primaries election ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Adamawa State.
Pharmacist Jesse Chidama is one of the few contestants who came early and gave a bumper to bumper bottleneck campaign and jostled to replace Rt Hon Yusuf Buba Captain, the incumbent House of Representatives (HoR) lawmaker representing the area in the national assembly.
Chidima garnered much acceptance and popularity with high assurance to clinch the HoR ticket of the federal Constituency but failed and accused a party official in the state to have given him a misguided information.
According to him, he met his failure through a misguided and teleguided information by Gambo Shelleng who told them in confidence he is the official assigned to conduct the primaries election in Gombi.
The agreement to feed them with reliable information with the time they will leave party Secretariat in Yola to Gombi, the venue of the primaries was ensured.
Unknown to Gambo while he was having the assurance of going to Hong for the election a complaint was laid against him to have had a meeting with the Jesse’s team that made the APC to reassigned him to Song for the exercise.
With much anticipation to hear from Gambo when and how to leave Yola by Chidama and his Campaign officials led by Mohammed Mayas as their reliable source of information, he turned up misinforming them with wrong time that left them perplexed and dumbfounded.
Jesse said they held unto his words until they later realized that someone suspected to be close to their opponent has teleguided Gambo to give them wrong information that caused him to miss the primaries election.
Tgnews gathered that before Gambo could tell Mayas, the Campaign director of Jesse Chidama he has been reassigned to Song and is no longer going to Gombi was too late.
All efforts made to reach the venue of the primaries election from Yola was fruitless by Chidama and his team as Yusuf was declared the winner of the primaries haven scored 100 votes.
Mayas said Buba scored 100 votes because he was privilege to meet the delegates one on one and one can still imagine if Jesse was also there to meet the delegates, his votes would have been two times than Buba’s.
According to Mohammed, Chidama scored 10 without his presence at the venue of the election told this medium that the results his candidate got are not justifiable and meet his status as a forefront contender.
He lamented that if Gambo would have informed him right regard time of the election Buba wouldn’t have win the primaries.
Mayas affirmed to this medium that his candidate, Jesse was never part of the primary election and is no in any way involve in the process.
He questioned how manage out of the three aspirants only one was present at the venue of the primary election.
He described the primary election and the its entire process as a charade of democratic evil manipulation against popular candidates to bring unpopular candidates to serve humanity.
“We have appealed to the Primary election appeal committee and any unfair hearing will compel us to go further to seek for justice.
” Our complain against the party official who misled to not participating in the primaries our party should take discipline major against him.”Mayas said
