How Boss is becoming the hard working SGF

Boss Mustapha Gidahyelda is a Nigerian lawyer with decades of years practicing law inside and outside the shores of Nigeria,a businessman with so many bussiness conglomerates, a certified management consultant, and a hardliner politician with credible records of political achievements felt in every political dispensation. This nobleman of many honours President Muhammadu Buhari finds him capable and fit to hold the office of SGF.

The Office of the Secretary to the Federal Government of Nigeria, SGF,is no doubt the ‘engine room’ and the live wire of the government whose duties network every part of a working administration. It is the official title of the political appointee who was appointed under the prerogative powers of a sitting president responsible for ensuring the effective coordination of government mechanisms

Boss before his appointment was previously a managing Director, Nigerian Inland Waterways Authority until 30th October 2017 when he was called for the scribe work of the nation. The call to service to this Man by President Buhari administration is after much consultations of his pedigree,his steady growth in political activism which delineated his honesty, doggedness, hardwork and political focus, and his relentless support for the present administration,who is an icon of transformation that believe in a progressive Nigeria.

Mustapha upon the mandate he was called to do is to oversees 24 Federal Ministries, each responsible for some aspect of providing government services, as well as a number of parastatals (government-owned corporations). In what he was appointed to do is to:

Coordinate policy design and formulation by Ministries, Departments and Agencies for approval by Government
Serve as Secretary to the Council of State, the Federal Executive Council and other Constitutional Councils, which are chaired by the President
Coordinate the activities of Ministries and Government Agencies on the implementation of Government decisions, policies and programmes
Deal with constitutional, political and socio-economic matters as may be referred to the Presidency
Coordinate national security and public safety matters
To plan and suggest national Honours Award to deserving Nigerians
Prerogative of Mercy
Protocol Matters
Channeling of papers and directives of the President
Processing and granting Government approval for Overseas Tours, Intergovernmental Meetings/Conferences, medical check-up/treatment by Public Officers
Processing requests for Overseas Duty Tours/Conferences including medical check-up/treatment abroad for members of the Judiciary, Chairmen and Members of Statutory Commissions/Bodies for approval by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
Coordinating the appointments to Headship of Statutory Bodies, Commissions and Agencies by the President
Deal with matters relating to conditions of service of political office holders
To have a intergovernmental Affairs and relations with State and Local Governments
To liaise with Secretaries to State Governments
Allocation of office accommodation to Political Office Holders.

In the light of the above duties of the SGF office, it is seen to be the brain box of the government, with hours to hours,hours turning to days of twenty four hours seven days a week running the affairs of the government. Less of this the country might have a collapse system and in serious danger. The hardwork in Mustapha who believe in the future of Nigeria is making the country to have a better tomorrow, is always being spotted in his SGF office working on weekends, working beyond normal hours of closure just to make sure the country is in a better shape.

Maintaining the focus of a more reboost and a Purpose Nigeria,his political radar and his natural call of service is seen to be humanity in nature,working hard to serve the people of Nigeria from North to South,East to West helping president Muhammadu to have an all inclusive government whereby every ethnic nationality is represented.
In Adamawa and some parts of the country, Boss is being the people energetic leader,who is presumed to have a dynamic Political life style and has emerged in the changing times of the country,his political vibrancy and keen love of humanity (Nigeria) makes him unique in working through out the week to serve Nigerians,a passion in him that’s seems unquenchable in his SGF office.

Many are looking and counting on him to be the number one man joining hands with the Executives,the judiciary and legislative for the continual revival of Nigerian states from total collapse as a result of bad governance from the previous administrations.

This is found in him,the power to inspire people in all walks of life, a great gift that’s rarely seen on people. Great orators can and do change the world through simple words of honesty. They can speak simple and fundamental truths for all people and for all time. But it is not enough to simply convey a vision; you have to make firm politic decisions and get things done to realise that vision. This is exactly what Barr Boss Gidahyel Mustapha is standing to achieve for our dear nation and in all his political life. Boss is no doubt a story of how a man was groomed to be a selfless leader with an innate ability and concerted effort to take our nation unto an enviable heights. Neither quality on its own lead to that glory, it is his sheer believe in both nature and nurture with the power of nature primarily influential in him working hard as the current SGF to have a good nation.

I am not trying to paint Boss as a saint without any flaws. He had his own shortcomings too, after all to err is human. There are a few things he did that could have been done in a better way. But if you are looking for a person close to perfection in politics,holding the office of SGF for the sake of Nigerians and entire humanity in a global perspective, look no further than Barr BOSS MUSTAPHA He is really for the changing times of our dear nation.
