In an official press release issued on Thursday, 28th May, 2026, the Chiefdom expressed gratitude to Almighty God for His blessings and protection over the past year, noting that the good far outweighs the challenges experienced.

The statement urged continued prayers and good deeds to attract greater divine blessings to the Chiefdom. It also invited non-Muslims to join their Muslim brothers and sisters in the spirit of the celebration, emphasising the shared bond of humanity.

“We are united by one country — Nigeria, one State — Adamawa, and by God’s doing, one Chiefdom and one local government. We are really and truly brothers and sisters of one family — Huba Chiefdom,” the release stated.

The Chiefdom encouraged residents to watch out for one another, offer support, and celebrate together, describing such unity as the foundation for collective greatness and success in all endeavours.

“Happy celebration to the entire Huba Chiefdom,” the statement concluded.

The message comes at a time when traditional institutions in Adamawa continue to play vital roles in promoting peace, harmony, and coexistence among diverse ethnic and religious groups in the state.
