Humanitarian Icon: Senator Ishaku Abbo Honored with Dual Awards

Senator Ishaku Abbo has been honored with two prestigious awards for his outstanding humanitarian services and unwavering support for evangelism. The Non-Denominational Christian Choir Association of Nigeria (NCCN) Adamawa state presented him with an award on September 27, 2024.

This recognition is a testament to Senator Abbo’s tireless efforts in serving his community and promoting the well-being of Nigerians.

You would recall that Baptist College of Theology, Jos, Plateau state had earlier recognized Senator Abbo’s contributions to humanity, alongside over 200 pastors and church leaders from various states, including Kaduna, Plateau, Adamawa, Taraba, Bauchi, and Oyo.

In a press statement, Senator Abbo expressed his gratitude to the management of the Baptist Convention, a Christian organization renowned for its sound doctrines and teachings. He dedicated the award to young Nigerians aspiring to leadership positions, urging them to remain steadfast despite adversity.

According to Senator Abbo, the award serves as a reminder to continue serving God and humanity, regardless of religion, tribe, or political affiliation. “This award is God’s willing plan to use it for His glory, any day, anytime,” he stated.

Senator Abbo’s commitment to humanitarian services and evangelism support has earned him recognition from various organizations. His efforts have made a significant difference in the lives of many, and this award is a testament to his selfless service to humanity.

Abbo in the press statement appreciate the entire Choir of Adamawa State, a Church group he joined since he was Younger for the purpose of Evangelism and reaching out to the lost for Christ.

According to him the gesture will spur him to do more and support the work of God across the nation in supporting Church leaders building the Youths to be good ambassadors of Christ and leaders of tomorrow to take over the mantle of leadership for the nation.

The award ceremony which took place in Gombi, Gombi Local Government area of Adamawa State during the Choir convention with the theme; “walk in the spirit”, Abbo who was the distinguished Chairman of the event said the Youths of Adamawa are of immense value to him and he will do all he can to support their mission as the award will have a constant reminder that is indebted to them at all times.
