I AM FOCUS AND UNSHAKEN: Gov Bindow tells Adamawa Citizens.

The Governor of Adamawa State, Sen Mohammed Umar Jibrilla, has reiterated his resolve to remain focus and unshaken by the antics of desperate politictians.

A statement by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Macauley Hunohashi says, Sen Jibrilla was elected by the good people of Adamawa State to provide expectations of good governance, in line with the APC manifesto and the social contract with the people of Adamawa State.

The statement recalls that when the Bindow-led administration came into office in 2015, the state can best be described as a failed state, “because of decayed infrastructure, nepotism in governance, low civil service morale and general state of despondency amongst the citizenry.

“But today we are proud to put it on record that we have not disappointed our citizens in terms of provision of infrastructure such as quality road network, modern street lighting and standerd drainage system, intervention in schools and hospitals, portable drinking water as well as skills aquisition for women and youths.
We have settled the seven months salary arrears we inherited and salaries for workers have remained prompt,” the statement added.

The Governor said as a resul of failure to connect with the people, desperate politicians resort to social media rantings by posting pictures and captions that would create disafection and ill feeling amongst the peace-loving citizens of Adamawa State.

“I have paid my dues as a politician, i have proved my mettle as a peoples’ governor, i am with my people in the ruling All Progressives Congress, i am poised to take a shot at a second term and i remain committed to consolidate on my ifrastructural development of the last three years, i therefore remain unshaken by the rantings of detractors,” the governor emphasised.

Sen Jibrilla therefore urged the people of Adamawa State to rally behind the APC to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 general election.
