Former Minister of labour and Productivity, Senator Joel Ikenya has refuted story making round that has decamped to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Joel who held from Taraba and served under President Goodluck Jonathan of the People’s Democracy Party (PDP) denied Making a single thought or attempt to leave PDP to anywhere for whatever reason.
He said PDP is his party of birth and political jobbers should trade with caution that he can’t leave the house he built for others to enjoy the glory.
“I have one message for my political enemies that I remain in PDP, I don’t have any intention of leaving PDP and no Jupiter on Earth will ever frustrate me to leave PDP or another party.” He said
He continue to say that the work of mischievous people of cooking up fake stories of his decamp will never see the light of the day because he has gone far to consolidate his Political life to die in PDP.
He displayed annoyance on how some Media outfit will peddles and propagate fake story without confirming its authenticity.
“I will not take it easy with anybody or media house that writes concocted and fake stories about me.” He stated
An APC Party Chieftain in Taraba has also said he saw the news of Joel return to their party trending in the social media and question the genuiness of the story as it has never gotten to them as officials of the party for the development.
The party official who want to be ananymous said for the past two weeks the rumor of his return to their party keep ringing the State capital but nothing of such has taken place.
