Yoruba freedom fighter, Sunday Igboho has debunked the reports that he was arrested yesterday in the palace of Sat Guru Maharaji in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Some online media yesterday night escalated the report on Igboho’s arrest by the DSS.
But the activist in a video made available on facebook by his spokesperson, Olayomi Koiki, said the report was far from the truth.
According to him in the video, “I appreciate you all my fans. I learnt that people said I have been arrested. I want to state that I was not arrested. I am in my house. I was not arrested. Thank you”.
FirstNews had reported that Igboho’s residence was raided in the early hours of Thursday with two of his aides killed.
The raid was later claimed by the DSS, saying the activist was stockpiling ammunition to disturb the peace of the nation.
