The Kpang Sanwi the first in Taraba state, Pastor Haniel Henlewheni Banti has enjoined the Yandang nation to be United and respect one another for the development of the Chiefdom and it’s people.
Banti who made this call at a reception organised by the community for his official home visit at Mayo Lope, Lau Local Government area of the state, promised not to disappoint his people.
” I promised not to disappoint you by the grace of God, and I will represent the YANDANG Nation in any part of the World, I will also convey YANDANG Summit aimed at finding a lasting solution to peace in the chiefdom”.
” I will work hard to rebuild our chiefdom, I call on you to ensure unity, peaceful co existence amongst yourselves, irrespective of any differences and I will ensure that there is security in the area”.
Pkang Sanwi the first who thanked God for answering their prayers over the creation of the Chiefdom, also appreciated Governor Darius Ishaku whom is through his administration their dream became true, as well as stakeholders of Lau local government area for their effort in the actualization of the Chiefdom.
The Royal father however prayed to God to reward the Village Heads for identifying with him and the Chiefdom as a whole, emphasing the need for them to always embrace peace and love each other while he promised to ensure Justice for all and carry every one along.
He urged people to abide strictly by their Religion, adding that all Religions preaches peaceful coexistence, while he caution Youths and Women from taking Drugs.
” I want to urged Yandang Sons and Daughters to ensure that they become responsible in the society by avoiding drugs and other bad behaviors”.
He called on Yandang Sons and Daughters both at home and in the Diaspora to ensure that they build houses in Mayo Lope for the area to develop.
In their separates contributions at the occasion, stakeholders all agreed to support and respect the Chief.
” I thanked God, for long time Yandang Chiefdom has no Chief, but God has sent Gov. Darius Dickson Ishaku for uplifting the Chiefdom, I am calling on people to resiprocate by voting the Governor for another term on 2nd March 2019. I want to call on all Yandang Sons and Daughters to support and respect HRH for the development of our area” – Dr. Alfred Yahya Kobiba.
Also speaking unbehalf of Village Heads, Zachariah Yari said, they were full with Joy for the new Chief that God has given them and calles on the entire Yandang Sons and Daughters to support and respect the Chief for the development of the area.
“We want to thank God and appreciate Gov. Darius Dickson Ishaku for the kind gesture and we pray God to reward him”.
