An audio conversation between the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the Chairman, Adamawa Concerned citizens, Alhaji Hussaini Gambo Bello Nakura of unleashing banters of threats on circulation over the social media for the past two days has become a topical issue of discourse.
Nakura in an interview with our correspondent in Yola said his attention has been drawn by a yet get to him court summons by a group known as Adamawa Global Trustees (AGT).
He said it beat his imagination by the so-called group sponsored by the Government to have thought he can be so unreasonable to concoct a report lying against the executive Governor of Adamawa in a broad daylight.
Nakura said his conversation with the government is in the public domain that can be further investigated by DSS, NIA, Police, the relevant security bureau in charge of the investigation and the MTN communication organization through which him and the Governor communicated.
According to him, the organization is being sponsored to do more harm than good by exposing the weaknesses of the present Governor to have thought that his number cannot be tracked by all the security investigation agencies.
“How can I doctor a report that can be investigated by all security organizations, am I that stupid to say what is not a fact? All I know, I made available my recorded conversation with the Governor to the world, Let them go and bring their record that’s not doctored please.
” These are just a show of shame in trying to defend themselves because of politics, besides I don’t even know how to edit voice, even if I have I don’t have that can of a phone to do that. Mind you from the time we had our conversation with the Governor around to 8 pm or thereabout on Wednesday evening, is not up to 10 minutes I led it out to the social media, then tell me how can I have the time to doctor it?
“It’s a pure lie I didn’t doctor the phone conversation, I thank God they are even going to court, at least more truth shall be unravelled and I’m ready to present my invidence in the competent Court of law,” Gambo said
He continues to say that:” If I can lie to the number one citizen of Adamawa state and be moving freely it means the security agencies in this country are not really working. I’m reliably told that the government are using the paid group to dose down the tension of hoarding the public good which it later resulted to destruction of government and private owners warehouses, massively looted and plundered public structures. Which is very condemnable.
“The Governor used his only MTN line to call me and is what security will present to them to have our original conversation, as for me I’m ever ready to present my evidence and prove before the Court of law. They are just running out of idea that’s why they are making constant blunders here and there.”
