Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has on behalf of the Government and the good people of Adamawa State extended deep condolences to the family and people of Maiha Local Government area following the passing of Hon Idi Amin the immediate past Chairman of the Council.
Humwashi Wonosikou, Fintiri’s Chief Press Secretary in a press statement he signed that the Governor paid tribute to late Idi Amin as a dedicated leader who had served Maiha Local Government and the State in various leadership roles.
Governor Fintiri underscored that the thoughts and prayers of the people of Adamawa State are with the people of Maiha during this period of mourning.
“I offer my deep condolences to the family as we mourn the passing of a fearless political activist who was a leader in his own right.
Our sadness is compounded by this loss at a time the State needs the services of Hon Idi Amin; I pray Allah grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss and forgive his sins and grant him Aljannah Firdausi.”
