Idi Hong, Wafari Theman, Adamawa’s Elite Celebrate Nyako’s Grand Wedding in Yola

The wedding of Mr. Hyellagiziya Baba Nyako and his bride, Yosi, drew prominent figures and a vibrant crowd to the Ark of God Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN) in Bachure, Yola North, Adamawa State, in a ceremony hailed as a beacon of societal unity.

Honourable Aliyu Idi Hong, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the occasion, described the union as “the nucleus of a better society” in his opening speech at the wedding reception.

Joined by notable Adamawa figures, including Hon. Wafari Theman, Dr. Nuhu Maksha, Prof. Yusuf Benson Baha, Prof. Philip Makafili, and Hon. Engr. Maigana, Hong advised the couple to anchor their marriage on trust and unbreakable communication.

“Never allow family issues to become public consumption,” he urged, praising Nyako’s industrious, humble, and trustworthy character and calling Yosi fortunate to marry such a dedicated man.

The LCCN mega church was filled as early as 7:30 AM, with both the elite and ordinary citizens of Adamawa uniting to honor the couple.
