The Executive Chairman of Maiha Local Government, Hon Idi Aminu sworn-in newly appointed secretary, Senior Special Adviser and five Supervisory Councilors with a charge on them to prepare and deliver good governance to the people of Maiha.
The Chairman who gave the charge during the swearing-in ceremony called on them to eschew all forms of corruption tendencies that can undermine the current administration.
Charging them to be diligently and avoid unnecessary trips as the present administration will not condone such habit by the Supervisory Councilors.
He thanked the people of Maiha who overwhelmingly voted Peoples Democratic Party PDP as according to him this has shown that people have confidence in the present administration.
He congratulated the Supervisory Councilors and Secretary of the LG and urged people to continue to be loyal and supportive to his administration for the betterment of citizens of Maiha.
The new Secretary of the Council Dr. Yakubu Suleiman Mbade who spoke on behalf of his colleagues, thanked people of Maiha for the privilege given to them to serve in the Council.
He affirmed their commitment to discharge their duties diligently and work in line with the development agenda of the present administration for the best interest of the area.
The Secretary assured that they will demonstrate visible dividends of democracy in their respective Areas and pledged that they will not disappoint the people of Maiha LG
