A mentally challenged minor was sexually assaulted in Adamawa by a fifty-three-year-old Man, Usman Tela Ahmadu, a resident of Saminaka, Yola South Local Government Area.
Tela was arrested by the Adamawa state police, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje the command public relations officer confirmed the development in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.
The Suspect is an internally displaced person (IDP) and an indigene of Maiduguri, Borno State outside Area, and always gets support from the residents of Saminaka where he resides.
Tela told police he sexually assaulted the Mentally Challenged Girl four times since 2021 and regretted his acts.
