A People’s Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant running the race to win the Adamawa Southern Senatorial Seat, Honourable Peter Fwa said his experience as Civil Engineer and town planner has made him be a Landlord to the incumbent Senator representing the zone, Rev Binos Yaroe and is most qualified to replace him.
He told journalists currently is supervising the construction of 109 houses for Senators in Abuja, an experience and exposure that made him be Yaroe’s Landlord.
Fwa stormed Yola NUJ with his entourage and addressed pressmen in a conference to refute rumors of withdrawing from the race to become a senator of the Southern zone.
According to him, he remains the best and has what it takes, his capacity is good enough to make him face any aspirant in the coming delegates’ primaries of the party.
He said his worthwhile experience as a retired civil servant, joining politics and served PDP at various levels, worked for former President Goodluck Jonathan and former Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa state is a feat that will make him get an advantage over other aspirants.
He extolled the Governor of the State, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for giving the State the kind of leadership they long yearned for.
Peter while refuting the rumors of withdrawing from the senate seat race, said:
“Recently developments and happenings in our great party have called for urgent attention as ignoring such will have dire consequences not only on the general wishes and aspirations of the people but also on democracy itself.
” Currently, rumors are circulating that I have withdrawn from the contest. Considering what rumors and fake news can cause if not debunked and not properly addressed, the consequences are better imagined than expressed.
“Consequently, I wish to call on all our supporters in general, members of the PDP and especially the EXCOS and delegates that I’m still in the race and have not withdrawn on anybody’s instruction whether expressly or impliedly.
” May I appeal to all our esteemed delegates to remain calm, resolute, and focused and elect the candidate of their choice at the scheduled time as all rumors have been dispelled now,” Fwa said
