He worry that Chief Ezeifi is unmindful of the fact that in a democratic system of governance tussles to power is done through canvassing votes from the electorates.

According to Lawan nobody is stopping the Igbos from becoming the next President of the nation provided they put their political House in order.

The Adamawa APC supporter said the disarray of Igbos politics where clusters of political groups, individuals and parties is one of the main reason that is fighting their unity of common interest.

Ahmad who is aspiring to be the national secretary of APC said that the statement of the elder statesman is given an impression as if the Igbos are being marginalized warras is their approach to the national politics is skewing them out of an opportunity and chance to produce a president of the nation.

Lawan Further said in his reply to the former Governor that the Igbos kind of politics is regional, always at variance with the party of popular majority in the country.

Ahmad who is currently the Organising Secretary of APC in Adamawa state told our reporter that politics is persuasion, lobbying be at par with the majority party to make head way that’s what the Igbos lacks.

“Nobody is marginalizing the Igbos, they are always pitching tents with the losing side party, forgetting that in politics is the majority that will always have its way against minority,I call on them to massively join the winning party for their respective and collective interest to hold sway in order to produce the next president.

” Nobody gives power to anybody ,is only the people will decide who will be their leader in a democracy set up” Ahmad said

You could also recall that Ezeifi opined that no Igbo man will still claim Nigerian citizenship if the South East zone is not supported to produce the nation’s president in 2023.
